Now my desktop's looking HOT ... But I am having problems with AWN on switching users. On startup suppose I login as ABC (awn comes up successfully) and then switch the user and log in as DEF then awn doesnt start, even though I've configured it in the login's startup list. It doesnt come even when I try to invoke it manually from Applications. What could be the problem? I'm a newbie to Linux...Using ubuntu now and loving it That was really cool !!

The process is running but I don't see anything on my desktop. I made the mistake of installing kubuntu and then installing ubuntu-desktop and trying to remove kubuntu-desktop. Oh well. Although I am just experimenting from VM Player, I am going to install a very similar setup for a friend on a lower-end computer for him.
